Windows Power Settings

Start by optimizing Windows power settings for maximum performance. This is the foundation for all other optimizations.

Accessing Power Options

  1. Right-click on the battery icon in the system tray
  2. Select "Power Options" from the context menu
  3. Or go to Settings → System → Power & battery
  4. Click on "Additional power settings"

Recommended Settings

  • Power Plan: High Performance or Ultimate Performance
  • Processor Power: Maximum Performance State 100%
  • Cooling Policy: Active
  • Display: Never turn off when plugged in
